Cooking is truly an act of love


“Cooking is truly an act of love”. When you acknowledge, as you must, that there is no such thing as perfect food, when we think of cooking and all of the different cultures and sub-cultures of food around the world and the reason that we all cook that reason is nourishment. It’s that simple. Cooking or cookery is the art, technology, and craft of preparing food. Cooking often means the transformation of the raw food by the use of heat, cooking’s contribution to human pleasure, culture, and survival could hardly be overstated.

Cooking is even more extraordinarily time-consuming and far-reaching. Cooking is so universal that it has even been proposed as the distinguish trait of home sapiens. The ways or types of cooking also depend on the skills and type of training an individual cook. Cooking is done both by people in their own dwelling and by professional cooks and chefs in restaurants and other food establishments. Most ingredients in cooking are derived from living organisms. Vegetables, fruits, grains, and nuts, as well as herbs and spices, come from the plant while meat, eggs, and dairy products come from an animal.

Naturally accruing ingredients foodborne illnesses that would otherwise occur if the food is eaten raw. Heat kills or inactivates harmful organism, such as bacteria and viruses.

Cooking increases the digestibility of many foods which are inedible or poisonous when raw. For example, raw cereals grains are hard to digest. Food safety depends on the safe preparations handling and storage of food.

Washing of hands and surfaces, especially when handling different meats, and keeping raw food separate from cooked food to avoid cross-contamination, are good practices in food preparations. Home cooking has traditionally been a process carried out informally in a home or around a communal fire and can be enjoyed by all members of the family; although in many cultures women bear primary responsibility.

Bakeries were one of the earliest forms of cooking outside the home, and bakeries in the past often offered the cooking of pots of food provided by their customers as additional services. We are committed to using food as a vehicle for social change. We believe when families reclaim the kitchen as the place to bond with and educate their children, the community becomes stronger and more equipped for the struggle of daily life.

Bringing people together around food is one way to build the community for creating social and economic justice and change Cooking is the best hobby to have, because it can be very useful in life, cooking at home is better for the environment, it is less expensive, much healthier, tastier.

The best thing about cooking is that food is universal love with no language, no matter who you are, you need food to live. Cooking is an exercise that helps people to feel alive, enjoyable thing. Preparing food is always fun all you need is little imagination and time. Great cooking produces lasting memories, food memories can come from something as humble as a beautiful piece of toasted bread or a wonderful cherry.

  2. I started cooking more once I had my own place. My cooking has evolved over time. I now cook mostly because I enjoy making my own creations and putting my own spin on dishes. I also like the fact that I know what goes into my food and I can save money on not going out as much. Everything I cook I cook with love and I enjoy sharing my food with my loved ones.

  4. I find it very relaxing to cook after coming home from work. I’ve been trying to go the more healthy route for hubby and I with lots of vegetables. I just received a free box of balsamic vinegar and herb olive oil and have made some real tasty dishes. Of course baking is my love also, nothing better then eating a big chuck of chocolate cake, warm from the oven with a glass of cold milk.
