“Cooking is truly an act of love”. When you acknowledge, as you must, that there is no such thing as perfect food, when we think of cooking and all of the different cultures and sub-cultures of food around the world and the reason that we all cook that reason is nourishment. It’s that simple. Cooking or cookery is the art, technology, and craft of preparing food. Cooking is even more extraordinarily time-consuming and far-reaching. Cooking is so universal that it has even been proposed as the distinguish trait of home sapiens. The ways or types of cooking also depend on the skills and type of training an individual cook. Cooking is done both by people in their own dwelling and by professional cooks and chefs in restaurants and other food establishments. Most ingredients in cooking are derived from living organisms. Bakeries were one of the earliest forms of cooking outside the home, and bakeries in the past often offered the cooking of pots of food provided by their customers as additional services. We are committed to using food as a vehicle for social change. We believe when families reclaim the kitchen as the place to bond with and educate their children, the community becomes stronger and more equipped for the struggle of daily life.

  1. I find it very relaxing to cook after coming home from work. I’ve been trying to go the more healthy route for hubby and I with lots of vegetables. I just received a free box of balsamic vinegar and herb olive oil and have made some real tasty dishes. Of course baking is my love also, nothing better then eating a big chuck of chocolate cake, warm from the oven with a glass of cold milk.

  2. Not only you get to experiment wth cooking, the versatility is huge… varied range, the world at your disposal, try and go crazy with new dishes…I think food connects people better than anything

  3. I started cooking more once I had my own place. My cooking has evolved over time. I now cook mostly because I enjoy making my own creations and putting my own spin on dishes. I also like the fact that I know what goes into my food and I can save money on not going out as much. Everything I cook I cook with love and I enjoy sharing my food with my loved ones.
